Overview

This week, we will cover gratitude and its’ meaning. This will assist us in our promise to always think abundantly through finding peace and happiness in every situation. Happiness is not about the material things, it emerges from within. You will demonstrate a different type of appreciation for the things, people, and circumstances that happen around you.

Focus for the week: “I Am Grateful!”

You will need a note pad and pen | pencil near your bed. Every morning when you wake up, before your feet touch the ground, before you brush your teeth, before you can think straight, write down what you are grateful for and why. Let your first thought when your eyes open be focused on answering the question of what I am grateful for. You must write something different each day. Your reasoning for being grateful must always be positive. For instance, I am grateful for my ex, because he taught me how to value myself and to recognize my self worth. He made me more aware and conscious over the type of men I entertain. I can recognize red flags faster now than I did before and he’s taught me to never settle. I am grateful for the lessons I have learned with him. (It’s all about a mindset shift)
